AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AMENDING THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1978, BY AMENDING CHAPTER 22-8,
ENTITLED "LICENSES FOR BUSINESSES, ETC. , FOR WHICH NO LICENSE
OTHERWISE SPECIFIED" BY ADDING AN EXEMPTION CLAUSE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. The Code of the City of Jefferson, 1978,
Section 22-8 is amended by adding the following additional para-
graph:
"Notwithstanding the provisions contained�in jthis
Chapter, those businesses taxed under the pro---
` visions of Chapter 16-71 and Cable TV Franchises �`
are hereby exempt from the provisions of Article
2 of Chapter 22" .
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage and approval.
