AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 9544, FIXING SALARIES OF ELECTED CITY OFFICIALS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 9544 of the City of Jefferson,
fixing salaries of elected City Officials, is hereby amended,
changing the salaries of the Mayor, City Councilmen, Municipal
Court Judge and City Attorney. The amended sub-sections shall
read as follows :
(1) The Mayor shall receive the sum of $600.00
per month as salary, effective May 1, 1983.
(3) The Municipal Court Judge and City Attorney
shall receive the sum of $850.00 per month
as salary, effective May 1, 1981.
(7) Each City Councilman sha11 'receive the sum
of $300.00 per month as salary, effective
May 1, 1982.
Section 2. All lump sum expense allowances, specifically the
Auto'"Allowance, shall be discontinued as of the effective date of
the above salary increases . Reasonable reimbursement for out-of-
pocket expenses (such as Municipal League meetings) , as approved
by the Mayor and Council, shall be allowed.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the dates as set out in Section 1 of this Ordinance.
