ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING
ORDINANCE 9296, PERTAINING TO CITY COMMITTEES , AND SECTION 2-30
OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. Ordinance 9296 is hereby amended by the deletion
of Section 1, paragraph (a) , subsection a, Committee on Finance
and Personnel, and by the deletion of Section 1, paragraph (a) ,
subsection d, Committee on City-State Relations .
Section 2 . The Committee on Finance and Personnel, and
the Committee on City-State Relations are hereby deleted from
Section 2-30 of the Code of the City of Jefferson, Missouri.
Section 3. The position of Finance Chairman shall continue
in effect without regards to the abolishment of the Finance
Committee. The functions of that position shall be reformed
within the scope of the City Council as a whole.
Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
