ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT
TO THE SECOND SUPPLEMENTAL FEDERAL AID URBAN PROGRAM AGREEMENT
WITH THE MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION 1. The Mayor and Clerk of the City are hereby
authorized and directed, for and in the name of the City, to
execute an amendment to the Second Supplemental Federal Aid
Urban Program Agreement with the Missouri State Highway
Commission.
SECTION 2. Said agreement shall read in words and figures
as follows :

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval .

® AMENDMENT TO THE SECOND SUPPLEMENTAL
FEDERAL AID URBAN PROGRAM AGREEMENT
This Amendment to the Second Supplemental Federal Aid
Urban Program Agreement, made and entered into by and between
the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission, hereinafter
called "Commission, " and the City of Jefferson City, a municipal
corporation in the State of Missouri, hereinafter called "City",
WITNESSETH:
The parties hereto have previously made and entered
into a Second Supplemental Federal Aid Urban Agreement concerning
the allocation and distribution of federal funds for improvements
along Stadium Boulevard in Jefferson City, Missouri. Such improve-
ments have been designated by the Commission as Project M-3111 (502) .
City desires assistance by the Commission in the
inspection of the construction work on Project M-3111 (502) .
Commission is agreeable to such assistance provided that
any assistance is subject to the terms herein.
In consideration of the mutual covenants and promises
contained herein to be faithfully kept and performed by the
parties hereto and each of them, it is agreed as follows:
1. The Commission shall provide construction inspection
services for Project M-3111 (502) . .
2. The City releases to the Commission the Federal share
from 'any progress payments due the City on Project M-3111(502)
for partial payment of Commission 's expenses incurred in providing

construction inspection services.
3 . The Commission shall bill the City once after the
® completion of Project M-3111(502) for the City 's• matching funds
for payment of the remaining expenses of Commission and the City
shall pay such bill.
4. The cost of the construction inspection of Project
M-3111(502) contemplated herein will be borne by the United States
Government and by the City as provided by the terms of the Second
Supplemental FAUP agreement.
. 5. Except as modified, amended, or supplemented herein, the
Second Supplemental FAUP Agreement between the parties hereto
shall be and remain in full force and effect.
6. 'This agreement is made and entered into subject to the
approval of the Federal Highway Administration.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this
agreement to be executed by their respective officers and the City
executes same pursuant to Ordinance No. 587 , of said City,
approved on the day of e-e A , 198 /.
