AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AMENDING THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1978, BY ADDING A NEW SECTION
26-63 RELATING TO REGULATION OF BOXING AND WRESTLING.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OI' THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION 1. The Code of the City of Jefferson , 1978, is
amended by adding the following:
Section 26.63. Boxing and Wrestling.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or
corporation to sponsor, conduct , operate or participate in

any manner whatsoever the activities of mud wrestling or
events where wrestling or boxing partners are of the opposite
sex.
Professional and amateur boxing and wrestling
exhibitions or matches, other than the above, shall be
permitted only after obtaining a business license from the
License Inspector. There shall be an annual charge of $50.00
for the issuance of said license.

effect from and after its passage and approval.
