AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , ACCEPTING AND
APPROVING THE PLAT OF MALL RIDGE ADDITION, SECTION TWO, A SUB-
DIVISION OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AS HEREIN DESCRIBED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI ,
AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION 1. Roy G. and Judith LaVon Speers Horridge,
owners of real estate hereinafter described and situated in the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, having submitted to the Council a
plat of said real estate, being located in Jefferson City, Cole
County, Missouri, and more particularly described as follows:
A part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 4 , Township 44
North, Range 12 West, in the County of Cole, Missouri,
being more particularly described as follows: From the
Southwest Corner of the Southwest Quarter of said Section
4; thence N 040 10 ' 08" W, along the Section Line, 580.47
feet to the point of beginning for this description;
thence N 860 44 ' 25" E, 853. 37 feet to the Southwest corner
of a tract of land as described in Book 104 , page 128,
Cole County Recorder 's Office; thence N 040 10 ' 08" W,
along the West line of said tract, 120. 00 feet to the
Northwest corner thereof; thence N 861 44 ' 25" E, along
the North line of said tract, 89. 56 feet to the Southwest
corner of Mall Ridge Addition, Section One, as recorded
in Plat Book 10, page 54 , Cole County Recorder's Office;
thence northerly along the western boundary of said Mall
Ridge Addition, Section One, on the following courses and
distances, N 100 15 ' 35" W, 215. 81 feet; thence N 39°
17' 17" W, 326. 36 feet; thence S 820 01 ' 41" W, 65. 00
feet; thence N 070 58 ' 19" W, 220. 00 feet; thence N 030
07 ' 01" W, 223.25 feet; thence N 860 52 ' 59" E, 10 . 39
feet; thence N 030 07 ' 01" W, 146. 22 feet to the North-
west corner of said Mall Ridge Addition, Section One;
thence S 860 52 ' 59" W, 670 . 00 feet to the West Line of
said Section 4; thence S 040 10 ' 08" E, along said West
Line, 1183. 30 feet to the point of beginning. Containing
20. 79 acres. Bearings are magnetic.
SECTION 2. It appearing that said plat has been duly
and properly signed and accepted by the owners of said subdivi-
sion, known and referred to as Mall Ridge Addition, Section Two,
that all taxes have been paid, and that in all respects the re-
quirements of Chapter 445, Revised Statutes of Missouri, 1969 ,
and amendments thereto, entitled, "Plats" , have been fully com-
plied with by the aforesaid owners of said subdivision, and that
in all respects and requirements of the Planning and Zoning Com-
mission of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, relating to plats
and subdivisions, have been complied with,
NOW, THEREFORE, the plat of Mall Ridge Addition, Section
Two, lying, being and situated within the corporate limits of
the City of Jefferson, Missouri, as shown by the said plat hereto
attached and made a part of this ordinance, is hereby approved
and accepted by the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, and the Mayor of the said City and the City Clerk of
the City of Jefferson, Missouri, after its passage and approval
of this ordinance are given the authority and are hereby directed
to endorse acceptance of said plat thereon and to certify to
the approval of said under the seal of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri.
SECTION 3 . This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage and approval.
