ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AMENDING
THE CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1978, BY DELETING THE CURRENT
SECTION 23-10.1, PARKING AND TRAFFIC AUTHORITY FUND, AND SUBSTITUT-
ING A NEW SECTION 23-11, PARKING DIVISION FUND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The existing Section 23-10.1, Parking and Traffic
Authority Fund, is hereby deleted and substituted therefor is a new
Section 23-11, Parking Division Fund, which shall read as follows:
Section 23-11. Parking Division Fund
All money collected from parking meters, parking lots, and parking
garages shall be deposited with the Finance Department to the credit of
the Parking Division Fund and all interest earned on credit balances of
the Parking Division Fund shall likewise be deposited in the Parking
Division Fund. All fines for tickets issued by Parking Division
personnel, with the exception of those fines imposed by action of the
Circuit Court - Municipal Division, shall likewise be credited to the
Parking Division Fund. The Fund shall be treated as an enterprise
fund and all expenses of the Parking Division, both operational and
capital, shall be paid out of this fund. The Finance Director shall
provide a monthly statement of the Fund's revenues, expenditures, and
balance to the Mayor, City Council, City Administrator, Director of
Transportation, and Parking and Traffic Commission.
Section 2. Repealer.. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after the date of its passage and approval.
