AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON , MISSOURI , AMENDING
THE CODE OF THE- CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1978, BY REPEALING SECTION
23-15.1, SAME - RESERVED PARKING METERS, AND SUBSTITUTING THEREFOR
A NEW SECTION 23-15.1.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The existing Section 23-15.1, Same - Reserved Parking
Meters, is hereby deleted and substituted therefor is a new Section
23-15.1, to read as follows:
Section 23-15.1. Same - Reserved Parking Meters.
(a) Reserved parking meter fees (No Parking bags) for construc-
tion, renovation, etc. , shall be at the rate of one dollar per day, and
five dollars per day for construction traliers, with a limit of one
reserve meter per contractor and one reserve meter per subcontractor.
Such fee shall be charged until such reserved meter bag is returned to
the Parking and Traffic Authority Office. The Director shall be author-
ized to waive these fees for specific purposes such as funerals or other
extenuating circumstances.
(b) The reserved meter bag shall only be used at the site for
which it is issued, and any bag issued for over one week shall
included charges for all days except Sundays falling within the period
of issue. A fine of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25) shall be
imposed for any violation of this ordinance.
Section 2. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval.
