AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AMENDING THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1978, BY REPEALING SECTION 23 .6 , A,
REGARDING THE COMPOSITION OF THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE PARKING AND
TRAFFIC COMMISSION, AND ENACTING A NEW SECTION 23.6, A, IN LIEU
THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION 1. Section 23.6, A, is hereby repealed and a
new Section 23. 6, A, is enacted in lieu thereof to read as
follows:
Section 23.6, A. The Parking and Traffic Commission
shall consist of eleven (11) members. Of the eleven
members :
1. Five shall be ex officio members without a vote.
These shall be:
a. Director of Transportation.
b. Director of Public Works or his delegate.
C. Chief of Police or his delegate.
d. Representative from appropriate State Agency.
e. One City Councilman and one alternate; alternate
may attend at will and will replace primary member
in his absence.
2. Six shall be residents of the City.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
® conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
