J 6 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CERTAIN WARRANTY DEED CONVEYING LAND TO THE CAPITAL CITY INDUSTRIAL CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF COLE AND TO RECEIVE A SUM OF MONEY AT THE TIME OF EXECUTION AND DELIVERY. WHEREAS, the City of Jefferson owns certain lands which highest and best use is industrial and commercial development; and, WHEREAS, the Capital City Industrial Corporation desires ® to purchase said land and to actively seek industrial develop- ment on said land; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON THAT: 1. The Mayor of the City of Jefferson be authorized and directed to execute a deed in the form and content as set out in Exhibit "A" , attached hereto and made a part hereof. 2. Before the Mayor shall make delivery of said deed, he shall be authorized and directed to receive payment for same in the sum of TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY EIGHT THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED TWENTY FIVE AND 37/100 DOLLARS ($278,825.37) , principal and interest. 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force from and after the date of its passage and approval.
