ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING,
AMENDING AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
BY AMENDING CHAPTER 36 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
BY REZONING PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE 1300 BLOCK OF SOUTHWEST
BOULEVARD, FROM RS-2 (SINGLE FAIILY) TO C-0 (OFFICE COMMERCIAL) .
WHEREAS, IT APPEARS THAT THE PROCEDURES SET FORTH IN CHAPTER 36
RELATING TO ZONING HAVE IN ALL MATTERS BEEN COMPLIED WITH.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the following described real estate
property be rezoned from RS-2 * (single family) to C-0 (office
commercial) , to-wit:
A part of Lot No. 20 of Swift & Thompson's Subdivision
of the northwest quarter of Section 13, Township 44,
Range 12, Cole County, Missouri, as per plat of Plat
Book 1, page 9 , and more particularly described as
follows: Beginning 5 feet southerly from the north-
westerly corner of said Lot No. 20; thence southerly
along the westerly line thereof, 95 feet; thence
easterly parallel with the northerly line thereof,
142 feet; thence northerly parallel with the westerly
line thereof,, 95 feet; thence westerly parallel with
northerly line aforesaid, 142 feet to the point of
beginning. ALSO, Part of Lot No. 20 of Swift and
Thompson Subdivision, in the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, per plat of record in Plat Book 1, page 9,
Cole County Recorder's Office, more particularly
described as follows : Beginning at a point on the
west line of said Lot No. 20, which is 100 feet south
of the northwest corner thereof; thence south along
the said west line of Lot No. 20, to the northwest
corner of a tract conveyed to Arthur L. Slicker and
wife, by deed of record in Book 123, page 51, Cole
® County Recorder's Office; thence east along the north
line of the said Slicker tract, 150 feet, to the
northeasterly corner thereof; thence north parallel
with the west line of said Lot No. 20, to the north-
easterly corner of a tract conveyed to Arthur W. Shockley
and wife, by deed of record in Book 134 , page 194, Cole
County Recorder's Office; thence west along the north
line of said tract and parallel with the north line of
said Lot No. 20, 150 feet, to the point of beginning.
ALSO, A part of Lot No. 20 of Swift and Thompson's Sub-
division, of the Northwest Quarter of Section 13, Township
44, Range 12, described as follows: Beginning at the
southwest corner of said Lot 20; thence east along the
south line thereof, 150 feet; thence north parallel
with the west line, 231 feet; thence west parallel
with the south line, 150 feet to the west line thereof;
thence south 231 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect. from and after its passage and approval.
