AWARDING BID AND AUTHORZING CONTRACT FOR THE MARINA
DISTRICT/WATERFRONT PARK FOOD AND BERVERAGE CONCESSION
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret has previously issued a request for Proposals
( "RFP ") for the right to provide Food and Beverage Concession Services at the Borough
of Carteret (`Borough ") Marina District/Waterfront; and
WHEREAS, on June 17, 2021, the Borough received one bid proposal from ARI Food
Group, Inc. ( "ARI") to provide said food and beverage concession services for a
concessionaire's fee to the Borough of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) a month during the
months of operation; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council wish to enter into a contract with ARI for the
aforementioned services in a form acceptable to the Borough Attorney in accordance with
the provisions of the RFP and ARI's response to the same, and subject to the review and
approval of the NJ DEP Green Acres.
NOW THEREFORE DE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret as follows:
1. That bid proposal from ARI Food Group, Inc., is hereby
approved and awarded.
2. 'That appropriate Borough Officials are hereby authorized
to enter into a contract with ARI for the aforesaid food and
beverage concessionaire services.
That this award is contingent upon review of the bid
documents by the Borough Attorney and subject to the
parties entering into a formal contract governing the
provision of said services in a form acceptable to the
Borough Attorney, in conformance with the RFP and
response to the same, and subject to the approval of the NJ
DEP Green Acres.
4. That a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough
Attorney for action consistent herewith.
