ORDINANCE NO. 2 7
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING,
AMENDING AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
BY AMENDING CHAPTER 36 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
BY REZONING PROPERTY LOCATED AT 108 AND 110 EAST FRANKLIN
STREET, FROM RS-4 (SINGLE FAMILY) , TO C-2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) .
WHEREAS, IT APPEARS THAT THE PROCEDURES SET FORTH IN CHAPTER 36
RELATING TO ZONING HAVE IN ALL MATTERS BEEN COMPLIED WITH.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the following described real estate pro-
perty be rezoned from RS-4 (single family) to C-2 (general
commercial) , to-wit:
Part of Subdivision 7 of Outlot No. 76, in the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, more particularly described as
follows: Beginning at the northwesterly corner of
said Subdivision No. 7; thence easterly along the
northerly. line thereof, 100 feet; thence southerly
parallel with the westerly line thereof, 167 feet, to
the northeasterly corner of a tract conveyed to the
Memorial Baptist Church of Jefferson City, by deed of
record in Book 182, page 821, Cole County Recorder' s
Office; thence westerly parallel with the southerly
line of said Subdivision No. 7 , and along the northerly
line of the Church tract, 100 feet to the westerly line
of said Subdivision No. 7; thence northerly along the
said westerly line, 167 feet, to the point of beginning.
ALSO, the northeasterly part of Lot No. 7 and the north-
westerly part of Lot No. 8 of a subdivision of Outlot
No. 76 in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, as same
appears of record in Plat Book 1, page 72, Recorder's
Office, Cole County, Missouri; said parts being more
particularly described as follows: Beginning on the
northerly line of said Lot No. 8 at a point 50 feet
westerly of the northeasterly corner of said Lot No. 8;
thence westerly along the northerly lines of said Lots,
69 feet; thence southerly parallel with the easterly
line of said Lot 7, a distance of 150 feet; thence
easterly parallel with the northerly lines of said Lots,
69 feet; thence northerly, parallel with the easterly
line of said Lot No. 8 , 150 feet to the place of be-
ginning. .
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
