AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AMENDING CHAPTER
5-16 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON BY ADDING A NEW SUB-
SECTION THERETO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
IMISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Code of the City of Jefferson, 1938, is
hereby amended by adding a new Sub-Section (i) to read as
follows:
(i) For retailers selling malt liquor containing
alcohol in excess of three and two-tenths percent by
weight and not in excess of five percent by weight,
manufactured from pure hops or pure extract of hops
or pure barley malt or wholesale grains or cereals
and wholesome yeast and pure water, or light wines
containing not in excess of fourteen percent of
alcohol by weight exclusively from grapes, berries
and other fruits and vegetables, or both, such malt
liquor and wine by the drink at retail for con-
sumption on the premises the fee shall be Fifty
Two Dollars and Fifty Cents ($52. 50) .
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
