AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, ESTABLISHING
PRIMARY AND GENERAL ELECTIONS IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON FOR 19820
RE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to §115. 121, RSMo. , 1978, as amended,
Municipal Elections are hereby established as follows:
(a) A Primary Election shall be held Tuesday,
March 21 1982, , if required.
® (b) A General Election shall be held Tuesday,
April 6, 1982.
(c). Candidates for office shall file their
Declaration of candidacy with the City
Clerk, City Hall, 240 East High Street,
Jefferson City, Missouri, beginning
Tuesday, December 22, 1981, and closing
Friday, January 8, 1982, at 5:00 p.m.
(d) The City Clerk shall notify the County
Election Authority by 5:00 o'clock P.M.
on Tuesday, January 12, 1982, of the candidates
for offices and election dates.
(e) One member of the City Council from each
Ward shall be elected at the General
Election on Tuesday, April 6 , 1982.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force .and
