AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, REPEALING
ORDINANCE NO. 9022 OF THE CITY WHICH ESTABLISHED VOTING PRECINCTS
IN THE WARDS OF THE CITY AND DEFINING THE BOUNDARIES THEREOF AND
ENACTING A NEW ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE SAME SUBJECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following voting precincts are hereby
established in the wards of the city:
A. First Ward
1. 1st Precinct - The first precinct shall be bounded as
follows: Beginning at a point where the centerlines
of Jackson Street and East Capitol Avenue intersect;
thence southerly along the centerline of Jackson Street
to the centerline of U. S. Route 50; thence easterly
along the centerline of U. S. Route 50 to the center-
line of Clark Avenue; thence northerly along the
centerline of Clark Avenue to the centerline of East
McCarty Street; thence easterly along the centerline
of East McCarty Street to the centerline of Benton
Street; thence northerly along the centerline of
Benton Street to the centerline of East High Street;
thence easterly along the centerline of East High
Street to the centerline of Riverside Drive; thence
northerly along the centerline of Riverside Drive to
the centerline of Sullivan Street; thence southerly
along the centerline of Sullivan Street to the
centerline of Riviera Street; thence southwesterly
along the centerline of Riviera Street to the center-
line of East Capitol Avenue; thence westerly along
the centerline of East Capitol Avenue to the center-
line of Cherry Street; thence northerly along and
® with the northerly extension of the centerline of
Cherry Street to its intersection with the easterly
extension of the centerline of East State Street;
thence westerly along said easterly extension of the
centerline of East State Street to the centerline of
Lafayette Street•; thence southerly along the centerline
of Lafayette: Street to the centerline of East Capitol
Avenue; thence westerly along the centerline of East
Capitol Avenue to the point of beginning.
2. 2nd Precinct - The second precinct shall be bounded
as follows: Beginning at a point where the centerlines
of Clark Avenue and U. S. Route 50 intersect; thence
easterly along the centerline of U. S. Route 50 to the
centerline of Eastland Drive; thence northerly along
the centerline of Eastland Drive to the centerline
of East McCarty Street; thence westerly along the
centerline of East McCarty Street to the centerline
of Boggs Creek; thence northerly along -the centerline
of Boggs Creek to the southerly bank of the Missouri
River; thence in a northerly direction from the point
perpendicular to the corporate limits being the
center of the Missouri River, to the center of the
River; thence westerly along the center of the River

to the southerly extension of the north-south quarter-
quarter section line in the west half of Section 23 of
Township 44 North, Range 11 West; thence southerly l
along said southerly extension to the easterly exten-
sion of the centerline of Riverside Drive; thence
westerly along said easterly extension and the center-
line of Riverside Drive to the centerline of Sullivan
Street; thence continuing along the centerline of
Riverside Drive in a southerly direction to the
centerline of East High Street; thence westerly along
the centerline of East High Street to the centerline
of Benton Street; thence southerly along the center-
line of Benton Street to the centerline of East McCarty
Street; thence westerly along the centerline of East
McCarty Street to the centerline of Clark Avenue;
thence southerly along Clark Avenue to the point of
beginning.
3. 3rd Precinct - The third precinct shall be bounded as
follows: Beginning at a point where the centerlines
of Eastland Drive and U.S. Route 50 intersect; thence
northerly along the centerline of Eastland Drive to
the centerline of East McCarty Street; thence easterly
along the centerline of East McCarty Street and
southerly along the centerline of Cityview Drive to
the southerly right-of-way line of -U.S. Route 50; thence
westerly along said southerly right-of-way line to the
northerly line of Private Survey 2440, Township 44,
Range 11; thence northerly parallel to the easterly
line of Section 21 to the centerline of U.S. Route 50;
thence westerly along the centerline of U.S. Route 50
to the point of beginning.
4. 4th Precinct - The fourth precinct shall be bounded as
follows: Beginning at a point where the centerlines
of Eastland Drive and East McCarty Street intersect;
thence westerly along the centerline of East McCarty
Street to the centerline of Boggs Creek; thence north-
erly along the centerline of Boggs Creek to the
southerly bank of the Missouri River; thence in a
northerly direction from this point perpendicular to
the corporate limits, being the center of the Missouri
River, to the center of the Missouri River; thence
along the corporate limits, as defined in Ordinance No.
9709, in a clockwise direction to the point of
intersection of the southerly extension of the center-
line of Cityview Drive with the corporate limits;
thence northerly along said southerly extension and the
centerline of Cityview Drive and westerly along the
centerline of East McCarty Street to the point of
beginning.
B. Second Ward
1. lst Precinct - The first precinct shall be bounded as
follows: Beginning at a point being the intersection of
the center of the Missouri River and the southerly
extension of the north-south quarter-quarter section
line in the west half of Section 23 of Township 44
North, Range 11 West; thence southerly along said
southerly extension to the easterly extension of River-
side Drive; thence westerly along said easterly ex-
tension and the centerline of Riverside Drive to the
centerline of Sullivan Street; thence southerly
along the centerline of Sullivan Street to the
centerline of Riviera Street; thence southwesterly
• along the centerline of Riviera Street to the center-
line of East Capitol Avenue; thence westerly
along the centerline of East Capitol Avenue to
the centerline of Cherry Street; thence northerly
along the northerly extension of Cherry Street to the
point of intersection with the easterly extension of
the centerline of State Street; thence westerly along

said easterly extension to the centerline of Lafayette
Street; thence southerly along the centerline of
Lafayette Street to the centerline of East Capitol
Avenue; thence westerly along the centerline of East
Capitol Avenue to the centerline of Jackson Street;
thence southerly along the centerline of Jackson Street
to the centerline of U. S. Route 50; thence westerly
along the centerline of U. S. Route 50 to the center-
line of Jefferson Street thence northerly along the
centerline of Jefferson Street to the center of the
Missouri River; thence westerly along the center of
the Missouri River to a point where it is intersected
by a perpendicular line from the east bank of Turkey
Creek (formerly Cedar Creek); thence from this point
follow along and with the corporate city limits, as
defined in Ordinance No. 9709, in a clockwise direction
to the point of beginning.
2. 2nd Precinct - The second precinct shall be bounded as
follows: Beginning at a point being the intersection
of the centerlines of U.S. Route 50 and U.S. Route 54;
thence northerly along the centerline of U. S. Route
54 to the centerline of the Missouri River; thence
easterly along the centerline of the Missouri River to
® the northerly extension of the centerline of Jefferson
Street; thence southerly along said northerly extension
and the centerline of Jefferson Street to the center-
line of U.S. Route 50; thence westerly along the
centerline of U. S. Route 50 to the point of beginning.
3. 3rd Precinct - The third precinct shall be bounded as
follows: Beginning at a point being the intersection
of the centerlines of Jackson Street and U. S. Route 50;

to the centerline of U. S. Route 54; thence southeasterly
along the centerline of U.S. Route 54 to the centerline
` of Stadium Boulevard; thence northeasterly along the
centerline of Stadium Boulevard to the centerline of
Monroe Street; thence northerly along the centerline
of Monroe Street to the centerline of East Ashley
Street; thence easterly along the centerline of East
Ashley Street to the centerline of Jackson Street;
thence northerly along the centerline of Jackson Street
to the point of beginning.
4. 4th Precinct - The fourth precinct shall be bounded as
follows: Beginning at a point being the intersection of
the centerlines of Missouri Boulevard and U.S. Route
54; thence westerly along the centerline of Missouri
Boulevard to the centerline of Waverly Street; thence
northerly along the centerline of Waverly Street to the
centerline of St. Marys Boulevard; thence westerly
along the centerline of St. Marys Boulevard to the
centerline of Beck Street; thence southerly along the
centerline of Beck Street to the centerline of Williams
Street; thence westerly along the centerline of Williams
Street to the centerline of Dix Road; thence northerly
along the centerline of Dix Road to the centerline of
Industrial Drive; thence easterly along the centerline
of Industrial Drive to the centerline of Argonne Street;
thence northerly along the centerline of Argonne Street
to the centerline of West McCarty Street; thence
westerly along the centerline of West McCarty Street
to the centerline of Vista Road; thence northerly along
the centerline of Vista Road to the centerline of
West Main Street; thence easterly along the centerline
of West Main Street to the centerline of Hamlin Street;
thence northerly along a northerly extension of the

Missouri River; thence easterly along the center of
the Missouri River to the centerline of U. S. Route 54;

C. Third Ward
1. 1st Precinct - The first precinct shall be bounded as
follows: Beginning at a point being the intersection
of Industrial Drive and the centerline of Argonne;
thence northerly along the centerline of Argonne to the
centerline of West McCarty Street; thence westerly
along the centerline of West McCarty Street to the
centerline of Vista Road; thence northerly along the
centerline of Vista Road to the centerline of West Main
Street; thence easterly along the centerline of West
Main Street to its intersection with the centerline of
Hamlin Street; thence northerly along the northerly
extension of Hamlin Street to the center of the
Missouri River; thence northwesterly along the center
of the Missouri River to the northerly extension of
the centerline of Meadow Lane; thence southwesterly
along said northerly extension and the centerline of
Meadow Lane to the westerly right-of-way line of Marilyn
Street; thence northwesterly along said westerly right-
of-way line to the rear line of Lot 18, Block 2 of
the Meadows Subdivision, Jefferson City, Missouri;
thence southwesterly along the rear lot lines of Lots
18, 19 and 20, Block 2 of said subdivision to the
easterly line of Lot 1, Block 3 of said subdivision,
thence northeasterly along said easterly lot line to
the northeast corner of said Lot 1; thence westerly
along the northerly, lines of Lots 1 and 2, Block 3 of
said subdivision to the easterly line of Lot 3, Block
3 of said subdivision; thence northerly along said
easterly line of Lot 3 to the most northerly corner of
said Lot 3; thence southwesterly along the rear lot
lines of Lots 3, 4, 5 and 6, Block 3 of said subdivision
to the easterly line of the Livingston Subdivision to
the City of Jefferson; thence southerly along the
easterly line of said Livingston Subdivision to the
south line of Section 35, Township 44, Range 12; thence
easterly along said southerly section line to the
centerline of Forest Hill Avenue; thence southerly

southerly extension of the centerline of Forest Hill
Avenue to the centerline of Industrial Drive; thence
easterly along the centerline of Industrial Drive to
the point of beginning.
2. 2nd Precinct - The second precinct shall be bounded as
follows: Beginning at a point on the centerline of
Industrial Drive where it is intersected by the
southerly extension of Belair Drive; thence northerly
along said southerly extension and the centerline of
Belair Drive to the corporate limits, as defined in
Ordinance No. 9709; thence along said corporate limits
in an easterly direction to the northerly extension of
the centerline of Meadow Lane; thence southwesterly
along said northerly extension and the centerline of
Meadow Lane to the westerly right-of-way line of
Marilyn Street; thence northwesterly along said
westerly right-of-way line to the rear line of Lot 18,
Block 2 of the Meadows Subdivision, Jefferson City,
Missouri; thence southwesterly along the rear lot lines
• of Lots 18, 19 and 20, Block 2 of said subdivision to
the easterly line of Lot 1, Block 3 of said subdivision,
thence northerly along said easterly lot line to the
northeast corner of said Lot 1; thence westerly along
the northerly lines of Lots 1 and 2, Block 3 of said
subdivision to the easterly line of Lot 3, Block 3 of
said subdivision; thence northerly along said easterly
line of Lot 3 to the most northerly corner of said

Lot 3; thence southwesterly along the rear lot lines
of Lots 3, 4, 5 and 6, Block 3 of said subdivision
to the easterly line of the Livingston Subdivision to
the City of Jefferson; thence southerly along the
easterly line of said Livingston Subdivision to the
southerly line of Section 35, Township 44 , Range 12;
thence easterly along southerly section line to the
centerline of Forest Hill Avenue; thence southerly
along the centerline of Forest Hill Avenue and a
southerly extension of the centerline of Forest Hill
Avenue to the centerline of Industrial Drive; thence
westerly along the centerline of Industrial Drive
to the point of beginning.
3. 3rd Precinct - The third precinct shall be bounded as
follows: Beginning at a point on the centerline of
Industrial Drive where it is intersected by the south-
erly extension of Belair Drive; thence westerly along
the centerline of Industrial Drive and westerly and
southwesterly along the centerline of North Ten Mile Drive
to the centerline of U.S. Route 50; thence westerly
along the centerline of U. S. Route 50 to the corporate
limits, as defined in Ordinance No. 9709; thence
following along said corporate limits in a clockwise
direction to the northerly extension of Belair Drive;
thence southerly along said northerly extension and the
centerline of Belair Drive to the point of beginning.
4. 4th Precinct - The fourth precinct shall be bounded as
follows: Beginning at a point where the centerlines of
North Ten Mile Drive and U.S. Route 50 intersect; thence
easterly along the centerline of U. S. Route 50 to the
centerline of Dix Road; thence northerly along the
centerline of Dix Road to the centerline of Industrial
Drive; thence westerly along the centerline of Industria
Drive and westerly and southwesterly along the center-
line of North Ten Mile Drive to the point of beginning.
D. Fourth Ward
1. lst Precinct - The first precinct shall be bounded as
follows: Beginning at the point where the centerline
of U. S. Route 50 intersects the western corporate
limits of the City of Jefferson, as defined in
Ordinance No. 9709; thence easterly along the centerline
® of U. S. Route 50 to the centerline of Dix Road; thence
southerly along the centerline of Dix Road to the
centerline of Williams Street; thence easterly along
the centerline of Williams Street to the centerline of
Beck Street; thence northerly along the centerline of
Beck Street to the centerline of St. Marys Boulevard;
thence easterly along the centerline of St. Marys
Boulevard to the centerline of Waverly Street; thence
southerly along the centerline of Waverly Street to
the centerline of Missouri Boulevard; thence easterly
along the centerline of Missouri Boulevard to the
centerline of U. S. Route 54; thence southerly along the
centerline of U.S. Route 54 to the centerline of Frog
Hollow Branch of Wears Creek; thence westerly along
said creek centerline to the corporate limits as
defined in Ordinance No. 9709; thence along and with
said corporate limits in a clockwise direction to the
point of beginning.
2. 2nd Precinct - The second precinct shall be bounded as
follows: Beginning at the point where the centerline
of the Frog Hollow Branch of Wears Creek intersects
with the aforementioned corporate limits; thence east-
erly along the centerline of said creek to the
centerline of U.S. Route 54; thence southwesterly along
the centerline of U.S. Route 54 to the centerline of

Stadium Boulevard; thence westerly along the centerline ,
of Stadium Boulevard and continuing westerly along the
centerline of Stadium Boulevard extended westerly
® from the intersection of Edgewood Drive and Stadium
Boulevard to the corporate limits; thence northerly
along and with the corporate limits to the point of
beginning.
3. 3rd Precinct - The third precinct shall be bounded as
follows: Beginning at a point where the centerline
of Stadium Boulevard and U.S. Route 54 intersect;
thence westerly along the centerline of Stadium
Boulevard and, from the intersection of Edgewood Drive
and Stadium Boulevard, continuing westerly along the
extension of Stadium Boulevard to �the corporate limits;
thence southerly along and with the corporate limits
to the centerline of Yorktown Drive; thence easterly
along the centerline of Yorktown Drive to the center-
line of Vieth Drive; thence southerly along the center-
line of Vieth Drive to the centerline of
Missouri Route C; thence northeasterly along the
centerline of Missouri Route C to the centerline of
Southwest Boulevard; thence easterly along the center-
line of Southwest Boulevard and the centerline of
® Ellis Boulevard to the centerline of Tanner Bridge
Road; thence northerly along the centerline of Tanner
Bridge Road to the centerline of U.S. Route 54; thence
northeasterly along the centerline of U.S. Route 54 to
the point of beginning.
4 . 4th Precinct - The fourth precinct shall be bounded as
follows: Beginning at the point where the centerline
of Yorktown Drive intersects with the corporate limits;
thence easterly along the centerline of Yorktown Drive
to the centerline of Vieth Drive; thence southerly along
the centerline of Vieth Drive to the centerline of
Missouri Route C; thence northeasterly along the
centerline of Missouri Route C to the centerline of
Southwest Boulevard; thence easterly along the center-
line of Southwest Boulevard and the centerline of
Ellis Boulevard to the centerline of Tanner Bridge
Road; thence southerly along the centerline of Tanner
Bridge Road to the corporate limits; thence along and
with the corporate limits as defined in Ordinance
No. 9709, in a clockwise direction to the point of
beginning.
E. Fifth Ward
1. 1st Precinct - The first precinct shall be bounded as
follows: Beginning at a point where the centerlines
of Jackson Street and U.S. Route 50 intersect; ,thence
easterly along the centerline of U.S. Route 50 to the
centerline of Clark Avenue; thence southerly along the
centerline of Clark Avenue and the centerline of Moreau
Drive to the centerline of Leslie Boulevard; thence
westerly along the centerline of Leslie Boulevard to
the centerline of Stadium Boulevard; thence continuing
westerly along the centerline of Stadium Boulevard
to the centerline of Monroe Street; thence norhterly
along the centerline of Monroe Street to the center-
line of East Ashley Street; thence easterly along
the centerline of East Ashley Street to the centerline
of Jackson Street; thence northerly along the centerline
of Jackson Street to the point of beginning.
2. 2nd Precinct - The second precinct shall be bounded as
follows: Beginning at a point where the centerlines of

Clark Avenue and U.S. Route 50 intersect; thence
southerly along the centerlines of Clark Avenue, Moreau `
Drive and Greenberry Drive to the centerline of Seven
Hills Road; thence easterly along the centerline of
Seven Hills Road to the corporate limits; thence
along and with the corporate limits, as defined in
Ordinance No. 9709, in a counter clockwise direction to
the southerly right-of-way line of U.S. Route 50; thence
westerly along said southerly right-of-way line to the
northerly line of Private Survey 2440, Township 44,
Range 11, thence northerly parallel to the easterly
line of said Section 21 to the centerline of U.S.
Route 50; thence westerly along said centerline to
the point of beginning.
3. 3rd Precinct - The third precinct shall be bounded as
follows: Beginning at a point where the centerlines
of U.S. Route 54 and Stadium Boulevard intersect; thence
easterly along the centerline of Stadium Boulevard to
the centerline of Leslie Boulevard; thence continuing
easterly along the centerline of Leslie Boulevard to
the centerline of Moreau Drive; thence southerly
along the centerline of Moreau Drive and Greenberry Road
to the centerline of Ellis Boulevard; thence westerly
along the centerline of Ellis Boulevard to the centerline
of Tanner Bridge Road; thence northerly along the
centerline of Tanner Bridge Road to the centerline of
U.S. Route 54; thence northeasterly along the centerline
of U.S. Route 54 to the point of beginning.
4. 4th Precinct - The fourth precinct shall be bounded as
follows: Beginning at a point where the centerlines
of Ellis Boulevard and Tanner Bridge Road intersect;
thence southerly along the centerline of Tanner Bridge
Road to the corporate limits; thence along and with
the corporate limits, as defined in Ordinance No. 9709,
in a counterclockwise direction to the centerline of
Seven Hills Road; thence westerly along the centerline
of Seven Hills Road and the centerline of Ellis
Boulevard to the point of beginning.
Section 2. Repeal Clause. Ordinance No. 9622 be, and the
same is hereby, repealed.
® Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take
effect from and after its passage and approval.
