AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1978, BY AMENDING SECTION 11-31
TRANSIT SYSTEM FARES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1, Section 11-3 is hereby amended by repealing
Subsection (d) Senior Golden Passes, and enacting a new sub-
section (d) in lieu thereof, to read as follows :
(d) Senior Golden Passes. The city, in respect
to its citizens over sixty-five years of age, who
have helped to build this community, shall issue
senior golden passes which will entitle their
holders to ride the city buses.
The senior golden passes will be issued by the
city finance department for the period May 1,
1982, to October 31, 1982 , for the price of six
dollars ($6.00) . At the end of said period the
senior golden passes will be issued for a period
of one year, to expire on October 31, for the
price of twelve dollars ($12. 00) per year. To
obtain such a pass, the applicant must submit
proper proof* as to age and residency in the city.
fl SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage and approval.
