AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE FOLLOWING
? ROADWAY: BALD HILL ROAD (FROM CARDINAL STREET TO THE INTERSECTION I
I!OF SEVEN HILLS ROAD) i

,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
!;MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: !

SECTION 1. Whereas , it was heretofore found and declared
11by the City Council, by its resolution passed and approved on
1IFebruary 15 , 1982 , necessary to improve Bald Hill Road from i
I!
++ Cardinal Street to the intersection of Seven Hills Road, in the i
�1City of Jefferson, Missouri, by curbing and guttering with I
I'
! Portland cement concrete, and it appearing to the City Council
'I
! that said resolution has been duly published according to the law
I1for seven (7) consecutive insertions in the Post Tribune, a daily i
!!newspaper, printed and published in the City of Jefferson, Missouri ,
!land a majority of the .resident owners of property along the said !
I i
lisections of the aforementioned roadway liable for the costs of
f
' said improvement, and who own a majority of the front feet on
!; said Bald Hill Road, intended to be improved, have not filed with 1
11the City Clerk a protest against said contemplated improvement . 1

() SECTION 2. That the said aforementioned roadway shall be !!i
'! built in accordance with the plans and specifications submitted
11by the Director of Public Works and filed in the office of the
1City Clerk, and that the cost of the work aforesaid shall be 1
! charged at a maximum rate of X5 . 00 per front foot and levied as

,la special assessment against the real estate abutting and fronting
on said contemplated improvement , and special, tax bills shall be f
issue d therefore as provided in t he City Cha rter and in Chapter ,
1! 33 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri , j
1A977, and of the Revised Statutes of the State of Missouri, 1978, !

j! and amendments thereto.
!; SECTION 3. The Director of Public Works is hereby in-
11structed to advertise for bids for this improvement . l

i SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and .after passage and approval.
