AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON , MISSOURI , AMENDING THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1978, BY AMENDING SECTION 23-121 ,
PARKING METERS TO BE FREE UPON SUNDAYS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION 1. Section 23-121 , Parking Meters to be Free upon
Sundays , is hereby amended by adding an additional paragraph
which shall read as follows :
"Parking meters will be free on all Saturdays
from July 10, 1982 , through and including
October 2, 1982 . "
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.

RE: Proposed Free Parking on Saturdays
Fiscal Note
The Parking and Traffic Commission has proposed to offer
free parking on Saturdays at all metered parking spots,
permit spaces and the municipal garage. We estimate the
loss of revenues from the metered parking would be $6,000
annually, lost revenue from enforcement on Saturdays would
'be $4,000 annually with a total .estimated loss of $10,000
annually.
