MARY' S BOULEVARD (FROM APPROXIMATELY 600. 0 FEET WEST i OF HEISINGER ROAD TO MISSOURI BOULEVARD) , BY CURBING AND GUTTERING WITH PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS : SECTION 1. Whereas , it was heretofore found and declared by the City Council , by its resolution passed and approved on June 7, 1982 , necessary to improve St. Mary' s Boulevard from ap- proximately 600.0 feet west of Heisinger Road to Missouri Boule- vard, in the City of Jefferson, Missouri , by curbing and guttering with portland cement concrete , and it appearing to the City Counci that said resolution has been duly published according to the law for seven (7) consecutive insertions in the Post Tribune, a daily ( newspaper, printed and published in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, and a majority of the resident owners of property along I i said sections of the aforementioned roadway liable for the costs of said improvement , and who own a majority of the front feet on said St. Mary' s Boulevard intended to be improved, have not filed with the City Clerk a protest against said contemplated improve- ment . SECTION 2. That the said aforementioned roadway shall be built in accordance with the plans and specifications submitted by the Director of Public Works and filed in the office of the City Clerk, and that the total cost of the work aforesaid shall be charged and levied as a special assessment against the real estate abutting and fronting on said contemplated improvement , and special tax bills shall be issued therefore , as provided in Chapter 33 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri , and the Revised Statutes of the State of Missouri, 1978, and amendments thereto. i i SECTION 3. The Director of Public Works is hereby in- structed to advertise for bids for this improvement . SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval.
