? AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , PROVIDING FOR
THE IMPROVEMENT OF HAMLIN STREET SOUTH OF WEST MILLER BY CURBING
WITH PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE.
j, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON ,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :

SECTION 1. The City Council passed and approved on August
i' 2, 1982, its resolution finding and declaring the necessity of
+; improving Hamlin Street south of West Miller in the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, by curbing and guttering with portland
cement concrete. That resolution has been duly published ac-
1i cording to law for seven (7) consecutive insertions , in the Post �

Tribune, a daily newspaper printed and published in the City of
4I Jefferson , Missouri. No protest against the contemplated im- ,
{ Y Y rovement has been filed with the City Clerk b a majority of

the resident owners of property along said sections of the road- I
? way liable for the costs of the improvement, and who own a
! majority of the front feet along the portion of roadway to be i
improved.
SECTION 2 . The portion of roadway described in Section 1
I� shall be built in accordance with the plans and specifications
submitted by the Director of Public Works and filed in the office
j
of the City Clerk. The cost of $7. 50 per front foot of the work
shall be charged and levied as a special assessment against the
real estate abutting and fronting on the improvement , and special
tax bills shall be issued therefor, as provided in Chapter 33 of
jthe Code of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, and the Revised
Statutes of the State of Missouri.
SECTION 3. The Director of Public Works is hereby in-

structed and authorized to advertise for bids for this improve- j

meet. I
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
