AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , ELECTING A
CHANGE IN EMPLOYEE CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE MISSOURI LOCAL GOVERN-
MENT EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM FOR EMPLOYEES.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
; MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. The City of Jefferson, Missouri, hereby elects to s

require no future contributions from covered employees to the Missouri
iI
Local Government Employees' Retirement System, in accordance with the
provisions of Section 70.705 and 70.730, RSMo, as amended. All I�
w I
contributions to the system required by the statutes will be made by II!
the City.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall send a certified copy of this
ordinance to the Missouri Local Government Employees' Retirement
System within ten days after passage by the City Council.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after the first day of November 1982. i
