AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING
I THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO A COMPROMISE SETTLEMENT j
OF THE CLAIM OF BOOKER ASSOCIATES , INC. AGAINST THE CITY OF
i JEFFERSON, PERTAINING TO THE DESIGN OF THE TRANSIT/CENTRAL
MAINTENANCE FACILITY, AND PROVIDING FOR AN APPROPRIATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
�! MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
�! Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
j to enter into a compromise settlement of the claim of Booker

+ Associates , Inc. against the City of Jefferson for extra work
i performed in the design of the Transit/Central Maintenance
Facility, for the sum of Six Thousand Sixty-Two and 38/100
�y Dollars ($6 ,062. 38) .
Section 2 . The appropriations for the fiscal year 1982-83
I
j are hereby amended by decreasing the appropriations of the
General Revenue Fund — Unappropriated Fund Balance, by the
(� amount of $6 ,062. 38, and by increasing the appropriation of
the Transit Fund, Account Number 63-63-403, in the amount of
$4,243.67, and by increasing the appropriation of the Central
Maintenance Fund, Account Number 71-71-403, by the amount of
$1, 818. 71.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after passage and approval.
