NO. DOT-FA-78-CE-8298 DATED SEPTEMBER 28, 1978, FOR APPROVED
FAA PROJECT FOR DEVELOPMENT OF JEFFERSON CITY MEMORIAL AIRPORT
CONSISTING OF REIMBURSEMENT FOR LAND ACQUISITION, TRACT I (FEE
SIMPLE TITLE) AND ACQUISITION OF PARCELS A AND B (EASEMENT) .
! BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS : I

!� Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of
!! Jefferson, Missouri, are hereby authorized to execute a
written Amendment to the Grant Agreement for Project No. i
6-29-0036-05 between the City of Jefferson, Missouri and the
1 Federal Aviation Administration, Contract No. DOT. -FA-78-CE-8298.

Section 2. A copy of Amendment No. 1 to Grant Agreement
for Project No. 6-29-0036-05 is attached hereto and made a part
! hereof as if fully incorporated herein.
?i Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in I
full force from and after its passage and approval.

AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO GRANT AGREEMENT FOR PROJECT NO. 6-29-0036-05
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration (hereinafter referred to as
the "FAA") has determined it to be in the interest of the United States
that the Grant Agreement between the FAA, acting for and on behalf of the
United States, and the City of Jefferson City, Missouri, (hereinafter
referred to as the "Sponsor"), accepted by said Sponsor on the 28th day
of September, 1978, be amended as hereinafter providhd, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined necessary to amend the description of
development to be accomplished and to decrease the maximum Federal share
of the total project.
NOW THEREFORE, WITNESSETH:
That in consideration of the benefits to accrue to the parties hereto,
the FAA on behalf of the United States, on the one part, and the Sponsor,
on the other part, do hereby mutually agree that the said Grant Agreement
be and hereby is amended by:
1. Deleting from the description as it appears on Page 1 the following:
"acquisition of Parcels A and B (easement).
2. That the maximum obligation of the United States as set forth in
paragraph 1 of the terms and conditions of the Grant Agreement is hereby
decreased from $100,000 to $76,889.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this Amendment to said
Grant Agreement to be duly executed as of the 21st— day of Dec. 1982 .

That I have examined the foregoing Amendment to Grant Agreement and the
proceedings taken by said Sponsor relating thereto, and find that the
execution thereof by said Sponsor has been duly authorized and is in all
respects due and proper and in accordance with the laws of the State of
Missouri, and further that, in my opinion, said Amendment to Grant Agreement
consitutes a legal and binding obligation of the Sponsor in accordance with
the terms thereof.
