ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE RELINQUISHING A CERTAIN EASEMENT FOR UTILITY;
I PURPOSES OVER LAND LOCATED IN JEFFERSON CITY, MISSOURI.
!� WHEREAS, by an easement dated July 7, 1980, and recorded in Book
261 , Page 402, of the Records of Cole County, Missouri, a utility

I easement was granted to the City of Jefferson, a Municipal Corporation,

to excavate within, install, construct, maintain and repair structures.

!� NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF;!
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council finds that the following described easement'

11, as per deed of record in Book 227, page 643, Cole County]
Recorder' s Office, City of Jefferson, County of Cole, Missouri; the'
centerline of said 10.00 foot strip of land being more particularly
I described as follows:
i From the southwest corner of the east half of the southwest quarter
of Section 16; thence north 830 20' 11" east a distance of 693.00
feet; thence north 000 48' 32" east a distance of 2392.21 feet to a
{ point on the east line of said property, the beginning point of
�I this description; thence south 14° 51 ' 3�" west a distance of 323.70)
feet; thence deflecting to the right g7 07' a distance of 311.73
feet; thence deflecting to the right 18 10' a distance of 42.01 feet
f to the point of termination of this description.
Section `L. The easement described in Section 1 is hereby
relinquished, and the City does hereby release and abandon whatever
interest it has in the easement.
Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to exe-
cute any necessary legal document relinquishing all of the City's
interest in the tract of ground described in Section 1.
j Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect froml
