AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING THE CODE OF
THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, BY ENACTING A NEW SUB-PARAGRAPH 11-3 ( g) , TRANSIT
SYSTEM FARES, SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE.
BE IT ORDIANED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFEROSN, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 11-3, Transit System Fares, is hereby amended by
the addition of a new sub-paragraph (g) which shall read as follows:
( g) Subscription Service. During the off-peak hours, the demand-
responsive bus may be used for subscription service. This service
will be eligible to the handicapped and senior citizens as defined
in this section. The fare for the subscription service will be
the same as the fare for the demand-response bus for the handi-
capped citizens . The Director of Transportaiton shall establish
necessary rules and regulations to implement the service. Sub-
scription service shall be defined as a trip to or from a specified
destination within the city limits . The specified destinations
will be established by the City. Senior Golden Passes cannot
be used for this service.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force from and after the
date of its passage and approval.
