ORDINANCE NO. ��14
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CLERK TO PURCHASE REAL ESTATE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
A SANITARY SEWER AND TO EXECUTE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS CONNECTED
THEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The Mayor and Clerk of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
are hereby authorized to purchase the real estate hereinafter described
for the purpose of construction of a sanitary sewer, and to execute any
documents necessary thereto. The cost of obtaining the real property
should not exceed $4,980.00. The property to be purchased is described
as follows:
Part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section
27, Township 45 North, Range 12 West, in the City of Jefferson,
County of Cole, Missouri, and being more particularly described as
follows:
fe From the Northeast corner of Garden View Terrace Subdivision,
Section 4, as recorded in Plat Book 7, Page 73, Cole County
Recorder's Office; thence N 880 46' 36" W, along the North Line of
said Subdivision, and the westerly extension thereof, 1149.65 feet
to the centerline of Missouri State Route 179; thence northwesterly
along said centerline, on a curve to the left, Navin a radius of
1910.06 feet, a distance of 463.85 feet; thence N 43, 21 ' 12" W,
along said centerline, 284.52 feet; thence S 480 59' 35" W, 76.35
feet to the westerly line of said Missouri State Route 179, and the
point of beginning for this description; thence northwesterly along
the westerly line of said Missouri Route 179 the following courses:
N 35° 41 ' 19" W, 47.15 feet; N 410 26' 39" W, 221.37 feet to the
center of Gray' s Creek; thence leaving the westerly line of
Missouri Route 179 and along the center of Gray's Creek the
following courses: S 49° 59' 58" W, 50.31 feet; S 41° 39' 20" W,
93.96 feet; S 180 05' 10" W, 119.78 feet; S 060 47' 31" E, 91 .51
feet; S 20° 44' 06" E, 127.92 feet• thence leaving the center of
Gray's Creek on a bearing of N 48b 59' 35" E, 339.36 feet to the
point of beginning.
Containing in all, 1 .66 acres.
Bearings are magnetic.

Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force from and after the
date of its passage and approval.
