ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CLERK TO OBTAIN SANITARY SEWER EASEMENTS AND TO
EXECUTE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS CONNECTED THEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and Clerk of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
are hereby authorized to obtain the following permanent sanitary sewer
easements and the following temporary construction easements, and to
execute any documents necessary thereto:
a. The cost for obtaining the following easements shall not
exceed $907.97:
A 10 foot wide strip of land across part of the Southwest
Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 27, Township 45
North, Range 12 West, in the City of Jefferson, County of
Cole, Missouri, the centerline of said 10 foot strip being
more particularly described as follows:
From the Southeast corner of the Southwest Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter of said Section 27; thence N 880 41' W,
along the south line of said Section 27, 128.56 feet to the
point of beginning for this centerline description; thence N
310 47' 19" W, 14.14 feet; thence N 850 36' 36" W, 245.73
feet; thence N 64 08' 54" W, 19195 feet; thence N 810 32'
54" W, 267.01 feet; thence N 38 38' 54" W, 348.23 feet;
thence N 410 01 ' 24" W, 328.05 feet; thence S 830 11 ' 52" W,
315.87 feet; thence S 490 05' 11" W, 1 .96 feet to the
termination of this centerline description on the easterly line
of Mo. State Rte. "179".
Also, an easement of an even width of 15 feet upon the land
located immediately adjacent to each side and extending the
full length of the 10 foot strip(s) of land described above,
for the initial construction and installation of the
aforementioned sanitary sewer facilities; provided that this
additional easement shall expire and terminate upon
completion of said sewer.
b. The cost for obtaining the following easements shall not
exceed $590.71 :
A strip of land 10 feet of even width across part of Lot No.
17 of Bax' s Commercial Property, Section II , a subdivision in
the City of Jefferson, Missouri, per plat of record in Plat
Book 11 , Page 27, Cole County Recorder's Office; the
centerline of said 10 foot strip being more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning on the south line of said Lot No. 17 at a. point
30.84 feet west of the southeast corner thereof; thence N 10°
38' 46" W, 72.04 feet; thence N 07° 48' 02" W, 83.41 feet to
a point on the north line of said Lot No. 17; said point
being 41.79 feet west of the northeast corner thereof and the
point of termination.
ALSO, an easement of an even width of 15 feet upon the land
located immediately adjacent to each side and extending the
full length of the 10 foot strip(s) of land described above,
the initial construction and installation of the aforementioned
sanitary sewer facilities; provided that this additional
easement shall expire and terminate upon completion of said
sewer.
C. The cost for obtaining the following easements shall not
exceed $1 ,633.35:
A strip of land 10 feet of even width across part of the
Northeast Quarter of Section 34, the Northeast Quarter of the
Northwest Quarter of Section 34, and the Southeast Quarter of
the Southwest Quarter of Section 27, all in Township 45
North, Range 12 West, in the City of Jefferson, County of
Cole, Missouri; the centerline of said. 10 foot strip being
more particularly described as follows:
From the center of said Section 34; thence north along the
Quarter Section Line, 210.00 feet to the north line of Sue
Drive; thence east along the north line of Sue Drive, 240.11
feet to the point of beginning for this description; thence N
04° 28' 42" W, 259.53 feet; thence N 050 20' 19" E, 235.40
feet; thence N 03° 31 ' 59" W 94.46 feet; thence S 85° 51 ' 20"
W, 256.14 feet; thence N 03d 31 ' 36" W, 1006.96 feet; thence
N O1 32' 32" E, 247.17 feet; thence N 10° 38' 21" W, 183.05
feet; thence N 540 29' 57" W, 240.00 feet; thence N 380 42'
03" W, 205.00 feet; thence N 17° 13' 07" W, 169.92 feet;
thence N 390 37' 52" W, 249.88 feet; thence N 300 05' 52" W,
220.03 feet; thence N 070 22' 42" E, 19.49 feet to the point
of termination; said point being S 480 59' 35" W, 254.13 feet
from the westerly line of Missouri Route 179.
ALSO, an easement of an even width of 15 feet upon the land
located immediately adjacent to each side and extending the
full length of the 10 foot strip(s) of land described above,
for the initial construction and installation of the
aforementioned sanitary sewer facilities; provided that this
additional easement shall expire and terminate upon
completion of said sewer.
d. The cost for obtaining the following easements shall not

City of Jefferson, Missouri, per plat of record in Plat Book

said 10 foot strip being more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning on the south line of said Lot No. 15 at a point
47.60 feet west of the southwest corner thereof; thence N 00
37' 26" E, 225.00 feet to a point on the north line of said
Lot No. 14; said point being 25.24 feet west of the northeast
corner thereof and the point of termination.
ALSO, an easement of an even width of 15 feet upon the land
located immediately adjacent to each side and extending the
full length of the 10 foot strip(s) of land described above,
for the initial construction and installation of the
aforementioned sanitary sewer facilities; provided that this
additional easement shall expire and terminate upon
completion of said sewer.
e. The cost for obtaining the following easements shall not
exeed $581 .67:
A strip of land 10 feet of even width across part of Lot No.
13 of Bax's Commercial Property, a subdivision in the City

Page 15, Cole County Recorder's Office; the centerline of said
10 foot strip being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning on the south line of said Lot No. 13 at a point
25.24 feet west of the southeast corner thereof; thence N 000
37' 26" E, 123.52 feet; thence N 290 02' 25" W, 29.55 feet to
a point on the north line of said Lot No. 13; said point
being 25.67 feet west of the northeast corner thereof and the
point of termination.
ALSO, an easement of an even width of 15 feet upon the land
located immediately adjacent to each side and extending the
full length of the 10 foot strip(s) of land described above,
for the initial construction and installation of the
aforementioned sanitary sewer facilities; provided that this
additional easement shall expire and terminate upon
completion of said sewer.
f. The cost for obtaining the following easements shall not
exceed $761 .86:
A strip of land 10 feet of even width across part of Lot No.
18 of Bax' s Commercial Property, Section 11, a subdivision in
the City of Jefferson, Missouri, per plat of record in Plat
Book 11 , Page 27, Cole County Recorder's Office; the
centerline of said 10 foot strip being more particularly
described as follows:
® Beginning on the south line of said Lot No. 18 at a point
24.36 feet west of the southeast corner thereof; thence N 040
17' 43" W, 101 .19 feet; thence N 100 38' 46" W, 99.30 feet to
a point on the north line of said Lot No. 18; said point
being 30.84 feet west of the northeast corner thereof, and the
point of termination.
ALSO, an easement of an even width of 15 feet upon the land
located immediately adjacent to each side and extending the
full length of the 10 foot strip(s) of land described above,
for the initial construction and installation of the
aforementioned sanitary sewer facilities; provided that this
additional easement shall expire and terminate upon
completion of said sewer.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force from and after the
date of its passage and approval.
