AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON BY REPEALING SUB-PARAGRAPH 11-3(g) ,
TRANSIT SYSTEM FARES, SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE, AND ENACTING IN LIEU
THEREOF ONE NEW SUB-PARAGRAPH PERTAINING TO THE SAME SUBJECT
MATTER.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Subsection 11-3(g) , Transit System Fares, Subscription
Service,ish hereby repealed and a new sub-paragraph 11-3(g) is hereby
enacted which shall read as follows:
(g) Subscription Service. During the off-peak hours, the
deman -r�sive bus may be used for subscription service by the
handicapped and senior citizens as defined in this Section. The
general fare rate shall apply to the subscription service. Senior
Golden Passes can be used for this service. Subscription service
shall be defined as a trip to or from a specified destination
within the City Limits. The specified destinations will be
established by the City. The Director of Transportation shall
establish necessary rules and regulations to implement the service.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
May 1, 1983 through October 31, 1983.
