ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND THE CITY CLERK TO PURCHASE CERTAIN PROPERTY AND GRANTING RIGHT
OF ACCESS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI ,
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to purchase the
following described property for $168,000.00, and to execute all necessary
documents in connection therewith:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: A tract of land located in the Southeast
Quarter of Section 14, Township 44 North, Range 11 West ,
Callaway County, Missouri, more particularly described as
follows :
Beginning at the southwest corner of said Southeast Quarter;
thence S 840 55 ' 07" E, along the Section Line, 2642 . 32 feet
to the southeast corner of said Southeast Quarter; thence N
040 24' 05" E, along the Section Line 1526. 89 feet; thence
N 840 55 ' 07" W, 2650. 15 feet to the quarter section line;
Ah thence S 040 24' 05" W, along said quarter section line , 1526.96
feet to the point of beginning. Said tract containing 92 . 76
acres , more or less .
Section 2. The Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute an
easement for roadway over the property described in Section 1 to the sellers .
The easement granted will be an addition to an easement of roadway
granted and recorded in the Office of the Recorder of the County of
Callaway, Missouri in Book 215 on page 495 , and will serve the remainder
of property for ingress and egress . The easement will be described as
follows :
EASEMENT : A strip of land ten (10) feet wide and lying East of
the Quarter Section Line, beginning at the southwest corner of
the Southeast Quarter of Section 14, Township 44 North, Range 11 West ,
Callaway County, Missouri , thence running northerly along and with the
Quarter Sedtion Line of said Section 14 to a point that lies 1526. 96
feet north of said southwest corner.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after the date of its passage and approval.

executed a survey of the tract of land shown hereon and that the results
of said survey are correctly shown hereon.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: A tract of land located in the Southeast Quarter of
Section 14, Township 44 North, Range 11 West, Callaway County, Missouri ,
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of said Southeast Quarter; thence S 84°
55107" E, along the Section Line, 726.79 feet; thence N 04°24'05" E,
1526.96 feet; thence N 84°55'07" W, 726.79 feet to the quarter section
line; thence S 04°24105" W, along said quarter section line, 1526.96 feet
AM to the point of beginning. Said tract containing 25.48 acres, more or
less.
