AN ORDINANCE OF TuE CITY OF JEFFERSON , MISSOURI , GRANTING
EASEMENTS 'rO FIRST UNT'I'ED MBTHODIS'r CHURCH OF JEFFERSON CITY,
►MISSOURI.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City hereby grants the following permanent below
grade easements to the First United methodist Church of Jefferson
City, Missouri:
(1) Part of Inlot 347 in the City of Jefferson, County of Cole,
Ivlissouri, more particularly described as follows:
From the southeasterly corner of said Inlot 347; thence N
41° 50' 25" E along the easterly line of said Inlot 347,
6.0 feet to the point of beginning for this description;
thence continuing N 410 50' 25" E along the easterly line
of said Inlot 347 5.0 feet; thence N 47° 36' 36" W 2.5
feet; thence S 41a 50' 25" W, 5.0 feet; thence S 47a 36'
36" E, 2.5 feet to the point of beginning.
The top of the Pile cap for this below grade easement to
be Elevation 618.75+ U.S.G.S. Datum.
(2) Part of Inlot 347 in the City of Jefferson, County of Cole,
Missouri, more particularly described as follows:
From the southeasterly corner of said Inlot 347; thence N
41° 50' 25" E along the easterly line of said Inlot 347,
27.583 to the point of beginning for this description;
thence continuing N 41° 50' 25" E along the easterly line
of said Inlot 347 4.0 feet; thence N 470 36' 36" W 2.5
feet; thence S 41a 50' 25" W, 4.0 feet; thence S 47b 36'
36" E, 2.5 feet to the point of beginning.
The top of the Pile Cap for this below grade easement to
be Elevation 618.75+ U.S.G.S. Datum.
Section 2. The City hereby grants the following temporary
easement for construction purposes to the First United Methodist
Church of Jefferson City, Missouri:
A 2-foot strip along the easterly line of Inlot 347•
Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
execute any necessary legal documents granting the easements
described herein.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after the date of its passage and approval.

THIS INDENTURE, Made on thy, _2d*day of Julie, 1983, by and
between the City of Jefferson, Missouri, a Municipal Corporation,
First Party, and First United Methodist Church of Jefferson City,
Missouri, a Missouri not-for-profit Corporation, Second Party,
WITNESSETH:
First Paty, in consideration of Ten Dollars ($10.00) and other
valuable considerations to it paid by Second Party, the receipt of
which is hereby acknowledged, does by these presents Deed, Convey,
Transfer and Grant unto Second Party, its successors and assigns,
a permanent below-grade easement in, under and through the following
land:
Part of Inlot 347 in the City of Jefferson, County of Cole,
Missouri, more particularly described as follows :
From the southeasterly corner of said Inlot 347; thence N
41 degrees 50' 25" E along the easterly line of said Inlot
347, 6.0 feet to the point of beginning for this descrip-
tion; thence continuing N 41 degrees 50' 25" E along the
easterly line of said Inlot 347, 5.0 feet; thence N 47 degrees
36 ' 36" W, 2. 5 feet; thence S 41 degrees 50' 25" W, 5. 0 feet;
thence S 47 degrees 36 ' 36" E, 2 . 5 feet to the point of
beginning.
The top of the Pile cap for this below grade easement to be

ALSO, part of Inlot 347 in the City of Jefferson, County of Cole,
Missouri, more particularly described as follows:
From the southeasterly corner of said Inlot 347; thence N
41 degrees 50 ' 25" E along the easterly line of said Inlot
347, 27.583 to the point of beginning for this description;
thence continuing N 41 degrees 50' 25" E along the easterly
line of said Inlot 347, 4 .0 feet; thence N 47 degrees 36 ' 36"
W, 2.5 feet; thence S 41 degrees 50 ' 25" W, 4. 0 feet; thence
S 47 degrees 36 ' 36" E, 2.5 feet to the point of beginning.
The top of the Pile Cap for this below grade easement to be
Elevation 618. 75+ U.S.G.S. Datum.
First Party, for the above considerations, further Deeds, Conveys,
Transfers and Grants unto Second Party, its agents, employees and
contractors, a temporary easement for construction purposes, and
to excavate within, intall, and construct building spread footings
upon the land above described, said temporary easement over, along,
in, under and through the following land:
A 2-foot strip along the easterly side of Inlot 347 in
the City of Jefferson, County of Cole, Missouri.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, with all the rights, immunities, privileges
and appurtenances necessary to Second Party in exercising its rights

of easement herein obtained, so that neither First Party nor its
grantees, assigns, or successors, nor any person or persons for it
or in its name or behalf, shall hereafter make any use of the above-
described premises in a manner that is inconsistent with, or in
any way interferes with the use by Second Party of, the easements
herein deeded, conveyed, transferred and granted to Second Party.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, First Party has caused these presents to be
executed the day and year first above written, by authority of
Ordinance No. 9988 of the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, by its Mayor.
