ORDINANCE NO. q9 /
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT WITH SCHELL
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC. , FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SHELVING AT THE
JOHN G. CHRISTY MUNICIPAL BUILDING.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI ,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to execute an amendment to the contract with Schell Construction
Company, Inc. , for the construction of shelving at the John G. Christy
Municipal Building. The additional services and equipment shall not
exceed $1 ,404. 00.
Section 2. The amendment shall be substantially the same in
form and content as that amendment attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after the -date of its passage and approval.

It is hereby mutually agreed that when this change order has been signed by
the contracting parties, the following described changes in the work required
by the contract shall be executed by the contractor without changing the terms
of the contract except as herein stipulated and agreed.

and agree to furnish all materials and labor and perform all work in con-
nection therewith in accordance with the requirements for similar work in

Room 223 - Add five (5) rows of 24"
wide shelves; east wall
Room 127 - Add three (3) rows of 36"
wide shelves; west wall
Add three (3) wood stools, 18" X 12"
Construct these additional shelving units in accordance
with the specifications for wood casework for the John
G. Christy Municipal Building.

Dear Mr. Weber:
We propose to construct shelves in rooms 223 - 127 - 138
of the John G. Christy Municipal Building according to
specifications furnished by planning supervision; also
construct three benches, (furnishing all material and labor)
painted two coats, for the sum of $1, 584.00 .
