Provide a copy of the data base containing the most email addresses used to communicate with
members of the community (meaning the Town of Gulf Stream) (the "Communication Database')
Dear Citizens Awareness Foundation Inc. (CAF),
The Town of Gulf Stream has received your public records request dated April 3, 2014, which is
reproduced on the following page.
In order to provide you with "...a copy of the data base containing the most email addresses... ",
the Town of Gulf Stream respectfully requests a deposit of $2,500.00, which represents the quote
received by the Town from Softline Data, Inc., to fulfill this request, per Fla. Stat. § 119.07 (4)(d).
However, please be advised that this is only an estimate and the Town may need to redact
information that is exempt pursuant to Florida State Statute.
Once the Town has received your deposit, Softline Data, Inc. will be advised to undertake the
processing of your Public Records Request. If the digital records can be obtained and produced for
less than the provided estimate, they will be promptly provided to you, with a partial refund of
your deposit based on the actual cost of production. If the digital records cannot be obtained, or
otherwise produced for a cost less than the deposit, the Town will send you a letter with an estimate
for the additional cost of production, and require an additional deposit. If it is found that this
database contains information that is exempt pursuant to Florida State Statute there will be
additional charges required for production and redaction before the information can be released.
