SECTION 17. Penalty Clause. Any person, firm or corporation who s�'all
violate any of the terms of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty ot,
a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a
fine not to exceed one hundred ($100.00) Dollars, or ninety days
(imprisonment in jail, or both fines and imprisonment.

AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLES ON THE
STREETS IN JEFFERSON CITY, MISSOURI, AND PROVIDING A PENALTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
S FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for the operator of a motor vehicle
o pass or attempt to pass a motor vehicle operated in the same
irection and immediately ahead of the motor vehicle to the rear on
ighway 50 West between the intersection of Highway 50 West with E1
treet and the intersection of Highway 50 West with Delaware Street.`
ECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with {
his ordinance are repealed insofar as they do conflict.
$ECTION 3. Anyone violating the terms of this ordinance shall be

o yield the right-of-way, prior to making a right turn and enteringl
nto Dunklin Street, to the operator of a motor vehicle who has I
xecuted or is in the process of executing a left turn from Highway J,
0 West to proceed in a easterly direction on Dunklin Street if the jI
ailure to so yield the right-of-way would cause a collision or
anger of collision between said two vehicles.
