ORDINANCE NO. 7044
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 3 of ORDINANCE NO. 5933 (BEING
SECTION 37 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON CITY,.
MISSOURI, 1956) AND ORDINANCE NO. 6968 OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON
CITY, MISSOURI, ESTABLISHING AND LOCATING VARIOUS PARKING METER
ZONES ON THE STREETS OF SAID CITY, AND ENACTING A NEW ORDINANCE TO E
KNOWN AS SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NUMBER5933, RELATING TO THE SAME SIB_
JECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 5935 of the City of Jefferson
City, Missouri, (being Section 37 of the Revised Ordinances of the
City of Jefferson City, Missouri, 1956) and Ordinance No. 6968 be,
and the same is hereby, repealed.
SECTION 2. There is hereby enacted a new ordinance to be known
as Section 3 of Ordinance No. 5933 of the City of Jefferson ( and
also to be known as Section 37 of the Revised ORdinances of the
City of Jefferson, 1956) that establishes and locates various on
street parking meter zones within said city. Said ordinance shall
read in words and figures as follows:
"Section 37. Parking Meters Zones. The following names
streets, or portions of streets, within the boundaries designated,
lying within the corporate limits of' Jefferson City, shall constit to
parking meter zones:
ZONE "A" - The east side of Adams Street extending
from Commercial Avenue north a distance
of One hundred (100) feet.
ZONE "B" - The north and ,south side of Capitol Avenue
between Madison Street and Monroe Street.
ZONE "C" - The north side of High, Street between
Washington Street and Adams Street. The
south side of High Street between a point
located two hundred (200) feet east of
Washington Street and Adams Street.
ZONE "D" - The east side and west side of Jefferson
Street between McCarty Street and Commercial
i� Avenue.
ZONE "E" - The east side of Jefferson Street between
Commercial Avenue and Capitol Avenue.
ZONE "F" - The south side of McCarty Street between
Jefferson Street and Madison Street.
ZONE "G" - The east side of Madison Street between
Miller Street and McCarty Street. The
east side and the west side of Madison
Street between McCarty Street and High
Street.
