AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSO iI,
TO ACCEPT FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY, A WARRANTY DEED TO A TRACT
OF LAND CONTAINING 2. 76 ACRES WITHIN SAID CITY FROM THE HOUGH PARK
GOLF CLUB, A CORPORATION, AND UPON ACCEPTANCE OF SAME TO CAUSE W TS IN THE
TOTAL AMOUNT OF FIVE THOUSAND ($53,000.00) DOLLARS PAYABLE TO THE j
HOUGH PARK GOLF CLUB TO BE ISSUED THEREFOR AND DELIVERED TO THE
PRESIDENT THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSO I,
S FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby
directed to accept for and in behalf of the City, a warranty deed t
a tract of land containing 2.76 acres located within said city from
the Hough Park Golf Club, a corporation.
SECTION 2. Upon acceptance of said deed, the Mayor of said City is
directed to cause a warrant in the amount of Fifteen Hundred ($1,50.00)
Dollars on the Bond Issue Fund for the Construction of New Streets
and Widening of Existing .Streets and a warrant in the amount of ,
Three Thousand Five Hundred ($3,500.00) Dollars on the General
Revenue Fund to be issued in favor of the Hough Park Golf Club,
ja corporation.
SECTION 3. Said warrnats shall be delivered to the president of
Hough Park Golf Club upon receipt of the aforementioned deed
Provided that said warranty deed transfers unencumbered merchantable!
title in fee simple absolute to said 2.76 acre tract of land to the
City of Jefferson, Missouri.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from
and after its passage and approval.
