'AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, i
AS INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NO. 5880 BY REZONING CERTAIN SPECIFI )
�ALLY DESCRIBED PROPERTY FROM A "C" MULTIPLE DWELLING DISTRICT TO A
�� G' COMMERCIAL DISTRICT.
WEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, was
,petitioned in writing for the rezoning of the land specifically
described hereinafter from its present "C" Multiple Dwelling distri
to a "G" Commercial District, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, referied
said petition for rezoning to the Planning and Zoning Commission of
the City of Jefferson, Missouri, and I
1WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Jefferso ,
Missouri, after notice and hearing to all interested parties and
appropriate study and consideration did recommend to the City Counc l
of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, that the land specifically
described hereinafter be rezoned as petitioned, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, by
and through its City Clerk has caused a notice of hearing for the
purpose of rezoning to be published three consecutive days in a
newspaper of general circulation within the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, the last day of publication having been more than fifteen
(15) days preceding the date of the hearing by the City Council,
wherein such notice of rezoning all interested persons were request d
to appear before the City Council at the time and place specified
therein for the purpose of attending a public hearing and expressin
their views in support of or in opposition to the recommendation
of the Planning and Zoning Commission, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, has
conduct6d said hearing and heard the views of all persons expressin
an interest in the rezoning of the lAnd hereinafter described,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The zoning map of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, as
incorporated into Ordinance No. 5880 of the City, is hereby amended
changed and modified to reflect the rezoning of the following
described land from its present "C" Multiple Dwelling district to a
"C" Commercial district:
"All of Inlots 602, 603 and 604 in the City of Jefferson,
Missouri."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from
and after its passage and approval.
