Pedestrians shall not walk into the roadway of either intersecting street unless the red light signal is exhibited on the standards at all four corners of the aforementioned intersections and unless the "Walk!' light signal is exhibited at all four corners of the intersections. (E) Walk light. le Vehicular traffic facing the walk light signal shall stop and remain stopped before entering or crossing the nearest cross-walk at any of said aforementioned intersections,.and shall not proceed until the "Walk!' light changes to the "Don' t Walk" signal and the white arrow or green light signal is exhibited. 2. Pedestrians may cross the roadway of the streets forming said aforementioned intersections within the cross-walks or diagonally through the center of said intersecting streets while said "Walk" light signal is being exhibited. (F) "Don't Walk!' light. 1. Vehicular traffic shall be controlled by the white arrow, green light, yellow light, or red light signals as mentioned in subparagraphs (A) ., (B) q (C) and (D) above. 2. EREAS, The City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, on is own motion, has proposed that Section 201 of Article II of rdinance No. 5800 should be amended by repealing Subparagraph 46 it hereof, defining the word "trailer" and enacting the new provision �0 e known as Subparagraph 46 of Section 201 of Article II of Ordinanc o. 5880, defining the word "trailer". and ;I EREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, referr d aid proposed amendment to the Planning and Zonifi g Comma atinn _ --- of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, and I! i I EREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Jeffersony Missouri, after notice and hearing to all interested parties and appropriate study and consideration, recommended to the City Council! bf said city that the amendment to Section 201 of Article II of Ordinance No. 5880 as proposed by the City Council, should be made, and WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, by an � Y Y �ecommendation hrough its City Clerk has caused a notice of hearing on the of the Planning and Zoning Commission to be publishe hree consecutive days in a newspaper of general circulation within he City of Jefferson, Missouri, the last day of publication having een more than fifteen (15) days preceeding the date of the hearing y the City Council, wherein such notice of hearing all interested ersons were requested to appear before the City Council at the ime and place specified therein for the purpose of attending a ublic hearing and exp6essing their views in support of or in pposition to the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning ommission, and i WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, has onducted said hearing and given all interested parties opportunity o be heard with respect to the recommendation of the Planning and oning Commission, NOW THEREFORE: E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSO , S FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Subparagraph 46 of Section 201 of Article II of ordinanca qo. 5880, said Subparagraph constituting the definition of the word frailer be, and the same is hereby repealed. (SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 5880 of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, is ,iereby amended by the enactment of a new provision to be known as Subparagraph 46 of Section 201 of Article II thereof, which shall !read in words and figures as follows: ` "46. Trailer: Any structure used for living, sleeping, business or storage purposes, having no foundation other than wheels, blocks, skids, jacks, horses or skirtings and which as been, or reasonably may be, equipped with wheels or other device or transporting the structure from place to place, whether by otive power or other means. The term "trailer" shall include amp car, house car, automobile trailer, trailer home and mobile cdome. For the purposes of this ordinance, a trailer shall not be � onsidered to be a dwelling as defined in subsection 12 above except +when located in a trailer or tourist camp as hereinafter provided under the terms of Article XVII." iSECTION 3.
