Carteret was called to order by Mayor Daniel J. Reiman at
approximately 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 18, 2021, remotely, via
telephone call -in.
Upon individual roll call, the following were noted present:
Mayor Daniel J. Reiman
Councilmember Vincent Bellino
" Dennis DiMascio
" Ajmar Johal
" Randy Krum
" Susan Naples
Noted absent was Councilmember Jorge Diaz.
Also noted present were Carmela Pogorzelski, Municipal Clerk and
Robert J. Bergen, Esq., Law Director.
The meeting was opened with a moment of silent prayer and the
Pledge of Allegiance led by Councilmember Krum.
Notice of today's meeting was emailed to the Home News Tribune,
posted on the bulletin board, the doors of the Memorial Municipal
Building and the Borough's website on June 10, 2021; it was
published in the Home News Tribune on June 15, 2021. All items
being voted on today were posted on the Borough's website,
www.carteret.net prior to the meeting.
The Purpose of the meeting was to award the bid for the food &
beverage concession at Carteret's Waterfront Park and any other
business that may come before the Council.

PUBLIC PORTION A copy of each Resolution was posted on the Borough's website for
RESOLUTIONS/ public review prior to the meeting in accordance with the Rules of
AGENDA ITEMS Council. Upon MMS &C, by Councilmembers Bellino and DiMascio
& NEW BUSINESS and unanimous affirmative vote of the five (5) Councilmembers
present, the meeting was opened for public input on all
Resolutions /Agenda items and new business.
PUBLIC HEARING There being no continents or objections to the Resolutions /Agenda
CLOSED items or new business, upon MMS &C, by Councilmembers Bellino
and Krum and unanimous affirmative vote of the five (5)
Councilmembers present, the meeting was closed.
RESOLUTIONS RESOLUTIONS:
1. #21 -114 Awarding Contract for Food and Beverage
Concession at Carteret's Waterfront Park.
2. 421 -115 Conditionally Designating a Redeveloper for Locust -
Roosevelt Redevelopment Area.
3. #21 -116 Designating Conditional Redeveloper for Certain
Properties in the Pershing Avenue Redevelopment
Area and Authorizing an Interim Costs Agreement.
4. 921 -117 Designating Conditional Redeveloper for Certain
Properties in the 237 Roosevelt Avenue
Redevelopment Area and Authorizing an Interim
Costs Agreement.
CONSENT AGENDA Mayor Reiman asked for a motion on the Consent Agenda.
Resolutions #21 -114 through #21 -117 were introduced by Mayor
Reiman and referred to the Council for action.

Bellino, DiMascio, Johal, Krum and Naples voted in the affirmative.
Councilmember Diaz was noted absent.
There being no further comments or discussion, upon MMS &C, by
Councilmembers Bellino and Krum and unanimous affirmative vote of
the five (5) Councilmembers present, the meeting was adjourned at
approximately 10:02 a.m.
