President of the Council Mayor lIORDINANCE NO. 7071 IAN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 713 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE J ; CITY OF JEFFERSON RELATING TO SALES OF INTOXICATING LIQUOR. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 713 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson for 1956 is hereby amended so that said Ordinance shall read as follows: i' II) Section 713. Sales prohibited near churches, schools - ( waiver. No license shall be issued authorizing sale of intoxicating liquor to be consumed on the premises where sold, where said premises are located within two hundred fifty (250) feet of any church, public or parochial {� school, nor within one hundred (100) feet of any public grounds or public parks ; Provided, however, that where such premises are within two hundred fifty (250) feet of ! a church, public or parochial school as herein defined ! the provisions of this Section may be waived by said i� church through its duly authorized officers or by such public or parochial school through the Board of Directors I of such school by proper written instrument, which said i; instrument shall be filed with the City Clerk and passed upon by the Board of Liquor Control.
