S FOLLOWS:
3ECTION 1. It is hereby declared that the City of Jefferson, Missou
leem,'s it expedient and necessary to vacate and discontinue as a
?ublic alley, certain street right of way described as follows:
"A north-south alley in Fairview Addition a Subdivision
of outlots 57 and 58 in the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
per the plat of said Subdivision in Plat Book I at Page 36,
Cole County Recorder' s Office, said public alley connecting
Elm Street with Dunklin Street and being bounded on the
west by lots nos. 63 through 77 inclusive and on the east *
by lots nos. 78 and 85."
ECTION 2. The owner of all property adjacent to the above
described public alley having petitioned the City Council to vacate
ind discontinue said alley as a public thoroughfare, and said
petition having been referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission
r consideration, and that Commission having recommended that said
etition be granted and that said vacation be ordered, it is hereby
eclared that the above described public alley right of way is
orever vacated and discontinued as a public alley right of way.
ECTION 3. The right of reversion to the owners of land abutting
aid public right of way is hereby confirmed as provided by the
tatutory laws of Missouri and the Mayor and the City Clerk of the
ity of Jefferson, Missouri, are authorized and directed in the name
f the City to execute all documents necessary to completely confirm

ECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from
