ORDINANCE NO. 7099
AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE PARKING OF MOTOR VEHICLES ON THE STREET
OF JEFFERSON CITY AND PROVIDING A PENALTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOU11,
S FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for the operator of a motor vehicl
to permit the same to be parked on the following designated streets
and street right of way within the areas designated:
i A) On either the east side or west side of Monroe Street
'within a distance of 200 feet north and 200 feet south of the
centerline of the Highway 50-63 Expressway.
B) On either the east side or west side of Madison Street
'within a distance of 250 feet north and 250 feet south of the
centerline of the Highway 50-63 Expressway.
C) On either the east side or west side of Jefferson Street
it in a distance of 150 feet north and 200 feet south of the
centerline of the Highway 50-63 Expressway.
D) On either the east side or west side of Broadway Avenue
within a distance of 250 feet north and 225 feet south of the
centerline of the Highway 50-63 Expressway.
E) On the north or south side of Highway 50 between the
Highway 50-63 Expressway and McCarty Street.
F) No parking within ten (10) feet of the south edge of
the existing Highway 50 pavement for a distance of 250 feet west
from the centerline of the Highway 50-63 Expressway.
SECTION 2. Anyone violating any of the terms of this ordinance
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
Iand after its passage and approval and the opening of the Highway
50-63 Expressway by the State Highway Department.
