(E. ATCHISON ST. ) IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, BY PAVING �I
WITH PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE. ;

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Whereas, it was heretofore found and declared by the
City Council, by its resolution, passed and approved on June 5, 196
necessary to pave with Portland Cement Concrete the roadway of
Nelson Drive from Sta. 14 f 24.22 (Magnolia Place) To Sta. 21 � 01.31
(E. Atchison St.) and it appearing to the City Council that said
resolution has been duly published according to the 'law for more th n
seven (7) consecutive insertions, in the Post Tribune, a daily
newspaper, printed and published in the City of Jefferson, Missouri
and a majority of the resident owners of property along said sectio ,
of Nelson Drive liable for the costs of said improvement, and who
owns majority of the front feet on said Nelson Drive intended to b �
improved, have not filed with the City Clerk a protest against said
contemplated improvement.
SECTION 2. That the said road of Nelson Drive in accordance with t e
plans and specifications submitted by the City Engineer and filed
. in the office of the City Clerk, and that the total cost of the
work aforesaid shall be charged and levied as a special assessment
against the real estate abutting and fronting on said contemplated
improvement, and special tax bills shall be issued therefor, as
provided in the City Charter, and in Sections 826, 827, 828, 829
and 767 of Chapter 10 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, 1956, and of the Revised Statutes of the State i
of Missouri, 1949, and amendments thereto.
SECTION 3. The City Engineer is hereby instructed to advertise for
ids for this improvement.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
