SECTION 1 . Jhereasy it was heretofore found and
declared by the City Council , by its resolutions passed
and approved on June 5, 1961 necessary to pave

and it appearing to the City Council that said resolut-
ion has been duly published accordinE to the lair for
more than seven ( 7 ) consecutive insertions , in the
Post Tribune , a daily newspaper , printed and
published in the City of Jeil'erson; I11 S S 0 up 1 , and a
majority of the resident owners of property along_; said
section of Nelson Drive liable for the costs of
said improvement , and i1hO own a i'mjority of the front
feet on said Nelsary Drive intended to be im-
proved , have not filed with the City Clerk a protest
against said contemplated improvement .

SEC T I O0 2 . That the said road of Nelson Drive
in accordance with the plans and specifications submit-
ted by the City Engineer and filed in the office of the
City Clerk, and that the total cost of the work afore-
said shall be charged and levied as a special assessi.,ent
against the real estate abutting and frontinp- on said
contemplated improvement , and special tax bills shall be
issued therefor, as provided in the City Charter, and in
Sections 826 , 8270 828 , 829 and 767 of . Chapter 10 of the
Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri ,
1956 , and of the Revised Statutes of the State of "rIis-
souri , 1949 , and amendi.ients thereto
SECTION 3 . The City Engineer is hereby instructed
to advertise for bids for this improvement ,
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passaEe and approval.
