AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO, 7037 OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, LEVYING A TAX ON THE GROSS RECEIPTS
OF PERSONS, FIRMS AND CORPORATIONS ENGAGED IN THE BUSINESS
OF SELLING TO THE PUBLIC, NATURAL GAS, MANUFACTURED GAS,
ELECTRICITY, TELEPHONE SERVICE OR WATER,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 7037 of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, levying a tax on the gross receipts of persons,
firms and corporations engaged in the business of selling
to the public, natural gas, manufactured gas, electricity
telephone service or water be, and the same is hereby,
repealed#
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in force and take
effect as of June 30, 1961.
