AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , CHANGING,
AMENDING, AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NO.
5880 BY REZONING CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED PROPERTY
FROM A DISTRICT IICrr MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING TO A DISTRICT
"F" HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL DISTRICT.
WHEREAS$ the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, was petitioned in writing for the rezoning of
the land specifically described hereinafter from its
present District "C" Multiple Family Dwelling to a District
"F" Highway Commercial District, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, referred said petition for rezoning to Vie
Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, after notice and hearing to
all interested parties and appropriate study and consideration
did recommend to the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, that the land specifically described hereinafter
be rezoned as petitioned, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, by and through its City Clerk has caused a notice
of hearing for the purpose of rezoning to be published
three (3) consecutive days in a newspaper of general circulation
within the City of Jefferson$ Missouri, the last day of
publication having been more than fifteen (15) days preceeding
the date of the hearing by the City Council, wherein such
notice of rezoning all interested .persons were requested to
appear before the City Council at the time and place specified
therein for the purpose of attending a public hearing and
expressing their views in support of or in opposition to the
AML recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission, and

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, has conducted said hearing and heard the views
of all persons expressing an interest in the rezoning of
the land hereinafter describe¢!
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. The zoning map of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, as incorporated into Ordinance No. 5880 of the
City, is hereby amended, changed and modified to reflect
the rezoning of the following described land from its
present District "C" Multiple Family Dwelling to a District
"F" Highway Commercial District:
"All of the land in Tract C of Southwood Hills
Addition, as the plat of said addition appears per
record in Plat Book 4 at Page 70, Cole County Recorder'-s
Office, lying north and west of the following described
linet Starting at the intersection of the westerly
line of Tanner Bridge Road and the northerly line of
a private drive, which point is 349.2 feet south of
the quarter section line between the northeast quarter
and the southeast quarter of Section 13) Township 44
North, Range 12 West; thence South 69 degrees 21 minutes
West along said northerly line of the private drive a
distance of 60 feet to an angle point in said northerly
line of said drive; thence in a straight line southwesterly
560 feet$, more or less, to the northeasterly corner of
they land owned by Dr. Spencer Macauley, which point may
be located by starting at the westerly corner of Tract
D of Southwood Hills Addition on the southeasterly right
of wary line of U. S. Highway 54 and run South 68
degrees 35 minutes east along the southerly boundary
line of Tracts C and D a distance of 477.84 feet to
an angle point in the boundary of Tract C."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in force and take
effect from and after its passage and approval.
