BE IT ORDA I; I) BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFER-
SON, AS FOLLO'W'S :
SIJCTIOtV 1 . Jftereas , it was heretofore found and
declared by the City Council , by its resolutions passed
and approved on AUGUST 79 1961 necessary to pave
with PORTLAND CEMENT cONcRETE
the roadway of CAPITOL AVENUE -fro m
the - EAST CURB LINE OF OLIVE STREET
to the 112 WEST CURB LINE OF RIVERSIDE DRIVE
and it appearing to the City Council that said resolut-
ion has been duly published according to the law for
seven (7 ) consecutive insertions , In the
PST TRCBM , a daily newspaper, printed and
published in the City of Jefferson, 11i ssouri , and a
majority of the resident owners of property alone; said
section of CAPITOL AVENUE liable for the costs of
said improvement , and w1io own a majority of the front
feet on said CAFrTOL AVErroE intended to be im-
proved , have not filed with the City Clerk a protest
against said contemplated improvement .

SECTION 2 . That the said road of CAJKML AVEM

In accordance with the plans and specifications submit-
ted by the City Engineer and filed in the office of the
City Clerk, and that the total cost of the work afore-
said shall be chariged and levied as a special assessia�ent
against the real estate abutting and fronting on said
contemplated improvement , and special tax bills shall be
AIL Issued therefor, as provided in the City Charter, and in
Sections 826 , 8279 8289 829 and 767 of Chapter 10 of the
Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri ,,
1956 , and of the Revised Statutes of the State of t/iis-
souri , 1949 , and aimendiaents thereto
SECTIOni 3 . The City EnEineer is hereby instructed
to advertise for bids for this improvement .
