AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE PAYMENT OF
THE SUM OF EIGHT HUNDRED ($800.00) DOLLARS ANNUALLY
BY THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, TO THE CITY ASSESSOR
TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSE OF THAT OFFICE INCURRED THROUGH
THE EMPLOYMENT OF ADDITIONAL HELP IN ASSESSING REAL AND
PERSONAL PROPERTY, AND ALL OTHER KIND OF PROPERTY, IN
THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. The Mayor and the City Clerk of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, are hereby authorized
and directed to execute a warrant annually in favor
of the City Assessor in the amount of Eight Hundred
($800.00) Dollars to defray the expense of that office
incurred through the employment of additional help by
the City Assessor for the purpose of assessing real,
personal, and all other kinds of, property in said City.
Section 2. The City Treasurer of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby authorized and directed
to honor each warrant drawn for the purpose described
above.
Section.3. The first warrant to be drawn for the
purpose and in the manner described in Section 1. above
® shall apply to the year of office of the City Assessor
beginning September 1, 1960 and expiring August 31, 1961.
Section 4. The sum authorized to be paid in Section
1. shall be in addition to all salary and expense account
presently authorized to be paid to the City Assessor under
the terms of presently effective o9rdibances of said city.
Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passageand approval.
