AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF THE SUM OF
TWENTY ($20.00) DOLLARS PER MONTH TO THE HUMANE
OFFICER OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONo MISSOURI FOR
THE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF THE ANIMAL POUND
AND ALL BUILDING INCIDENTALS THERETO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and the City Clerk of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri are hereby authorized
and directed to issue a warrant of said City in the
amount of $20.00 each month payable to the Humane
Officer of said City to defray the cost and expense
of maintaining and repairing the animal pound and all
buildings incidental thereto.
Section 2. The City Treasurer of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby directed to honor the
warrant mentioned above.
Section 3. Said monthly payment of Twenty ($20.00)
Dollars to the Humane Officer shall be in addition to
the salary and expense account now allowed the Humane
Officer under presently existing and effective ordinances
of said city.
Section 4. Said Twenty ($20.00) Dollar monthly sum
shall be allowed initially on the day of
for the month of , 1961.
Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage and approval.
