, AN ORDINANCE OF THE COTY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , CHANGING,
AMENDING AND MODIFYINGTHE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AS INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NO.
5880 BY REZONING CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED LAND FROM
A "D" MULTIPLE DWELLING DISTRICT TO AN "Ell LOCAL COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, was petitioned in writing to rezone the land
hereinafter specifically described from its present "D"
Multiple Dwelling District to a District "E" Local
Commercial District, and
WHEREAS, the City Council referred said petition to
its Planning & Zoning Commission for consideration and
hearing, and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after notice and hearing
to all interested parties, and after consideration and
study, did recommend to the City Council that the land
hereinafter specifically described be rezoned in the
manner hereinafter stated, and
WHEREAS, the: City of Jefferson has caused a notice
of its intntion to hold a hearing on the recommendation
of the Planning and Zoning Commission to be published
three consecutive days in a newspaper of general circu-
lation within said city, the last date of publication
being more than 15 days prior to the date of hearing
advertised in said notice of hearing, wherein such notice
all persons interested in the recommendation of XX said
Commission were requested to appear at said hearing of
the City Council at the time and place specified therein
for the purpose of supporting or opposing legislation of
the City Council offered to carry out the recommendation
of the Planning & Zoning Commission, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of said city has now
conducted said hearing and given all persons interested
an opportunity to be heard in support of or in opposition
to the enactment of an ordinance to carry out the
recommendation of the Planning & Zoning Commission, now
therefore:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. The Zoning Map of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, as incorporated into Ordinance No. 5880 of the
city, is hereby amended, modified and changed to reflect
the rezoning of the following described land from its
present District "D" Multiple Dwelling District to an
"E" Local Commercial District:
"All of that part of Inlots Nots. 569 , 570,
571 and 572 in the City of Jefferson, Missouri
lying north of the Rex M. Whitton Expressway."
This ordinance shall be in force and take effect
from and after its passage and approval.
